Mena Alexandra (born on 13 February 1979) is an actress and model from the United States. After a brief stint as a fashion model before moving into acting, appearing as guest stars on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. Her first film part in the drama Nowhere. With her performances on American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to get a BAFTA Award - and American Pie, which garnered more attention from the public and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. Her next role was Loser (2000), with American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Then she appeared as the role of the title role for the film Sugar & Spice (2002). Spun and Trauma, a thriller movie from 2004 was her second appearance. Her other appearances include HBO's series Six Feet Under. In 2008, she was part of several films including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh or the adaptation film to The Garden of Eden. Suvari was featured on various fashion websites as well as in magazines such as Vogue as well as Lancome Paris Adaptive print ads. She has been a strong advocate and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. She's also involved in charities which fight breast cancer and End Violence Against Women.
